CALLING ALL LANDLORDS - LANDLORD FORUM MEETING

Monmouthshire County Council and Torfaen County Borough Council are inviting you to attend the next Landlord Forum Meeting on Thursday, 5th July 2012 at the Parkway Hotel, Cwmbran.  Registration, tea and coffee at 5.30 pm.  Forum starts at 6.00 pm.  Followed by a light buffet.

We are pleased to announce that the following speakers will be attending:

• Richard Davies, Chief Benefits Officers for both Councils will be providng an update on the changes to Housing Benefits and how these may effect you.


• Adrian Thompson from the Guild of Residential Landlords, discussing the legal process of evicting tenants.


• Adam Chown, Project Manager for the Wales Co-operative Centre to discuss the new project for takling homelessness.


• Anne Rowlands will be in attendance with details of a FREE Landlord Accreditation Course which is open only to Torfaen and Monmouthshire landlords.rn
