Monmouthshire Housing Association (MHA)

Monmouthshire Housing Association logo

Monmouthshire Housing Association was established on the 21st January 2008. It was initially developed to receive the housing stock of Monmouthshire County Council through a large scale voluntary transfer. The association is a new Industrial and Provident Society, managed by a voluntary board and an executive management team.

Monmouthshire Housing Association’s primary function is to provide quality rented accommodation working closely with local authorities, the Police and other partners to provide great homes and great neighbourhoods for the residents of Monmouthshire, as well as opportunities for young people.

The association manages around 3,600 homes and 290 leasehold properties, as well as a large number of garages and other land.

MHA operates within a rural setting covering approximately 325 square miles. It has four main towns, Abergavenny, Caldicot, Chepstow and Monmouth. We provide general needs, older persons and disabled accommodation.
